Some clients become more than just clients over the years—they become friends and a part of your story. The Wyatt family is definitely one of those families for me. ❤️
I first met the Wyatts 16 years ago, when they had just opened their chiropractic office in Bloomington. They called me about having some portraits created to display in their new offices—both to make the space look beautiful and to help advertise my photography.
I started photographing just the two of them, never imagining that our relationship would grow into 16 years of capturing their family as it grew from two to six!
Not long after we met, I also started going to them for chiropractic care, and they have been taking care of my back ever since. I honestly can't imagine how my back would handle all these years of carrying camera equipment, photographing families, and sitting at a computer editing images without them! 😂
Over the years, I have had the privilege of photographing so many special chapters of their lives. I photographed maternity and newborn sessions with each of their children, their children's first years of life, and now their family portraits year after year as their kids continue to grow.
It has been especially fun watching the portraits in their office change over the years, too. What started as portraits of the two of them for their new chiropractic practice eventually became portraits of their growing family. Their walls have quite literally grown along with their family!
The Wyatts have since moved their chiropractic office to El Paso, but thankfully, that hasn't stopped me going to them for chiropractic care and I look forward to their family portraits each year.

And now, I thought I would share this beautiful fall family session from last year. 🍂
Fall portrait season will be here before we know it, and it is always one of my favorite times of year for family portraits. The beautiful colors, cozy clothes and changing scenery make such a beautiful backdrop for documenting the people you love most.
Looking at these images, I can't help but think about how quickly the years have gone. I have photographed these kids before they were even born, held them in front of my camera as newborns, celebrated their first years, and now get to photograph all four of them together with their parents.
From two people in a new chiropractic office to a family of six—it has been such a joy to be there with my camera through it all.
I'm so thankful for clients who trust me year after year to preserve these memories for them. ❤️
