Before she was a senior… before she was 11, 7, 3, or even 1… there was this sweet little girl with the most adorable baby rolls. 🥹💕

I first photographed her when she was just a few weeks old, and I have had the privilege of photographing her every year of her life ever since.

If you have been following my photography for very long, you will probably recognize this beautiful girl! She has been all over my studio, in my portfolio, on my website, and even in my ads for many years. She has always been such a sweet, easygoing girl with a big smile and just the right amount of spunk—and she has always been so much fun to photograph.

So I thought it would be fun to take a little trip down memory lane as I share some of her portraits leading up to her senior year.

First up… those newborn days and her adorable 4-month-old rolls! 😍

Then came her 1-year portraits, and that sweet little personality was already shining through. She was always so happy and so easy to photograph, and somehow she just seemed to know what to do when the camera came out.

And then came her 3-year session, which I have to say has always been one of our favorite sessions together. She was absolutely adorable, full of personality, and completely herself. These are the sessions that make me love what I do—capturing a child's personality at each stage before they grow into the next one.

By around 7 years old, we were capturing that sweet little girl with missing teeth and that familiar smile. It is amazing how much a child can change in just a few years, yet somehow you can still see the same little girl in her eyes.

Then came her 11-year-old Junior High Session. She was growing up, becoming more independent, but she still had that same easygoing personality and that little bit of spunk that I had known since she was tiny.

And now… 17. 🥹

These are the first images from her senior session, and I honestly have a hard time believing we have arrived here.

I have had the privilege of photographing her family for the past 17 years, and getting to watch her grow from a tiny blonde, blue-eyed girl into the beautiful young woman she is today has been such a gift.

This is one of the things I love most about being a photographer. I don't just get to take pictures—I get to watch families grow, remember the little things, and preserve all those stages that seem to go by far too quickly.

And this girl? She has given me A LOT of beautiful memories to photograph along the way. 💕📷
