From Triplets to Graduation: A Sweet Reminder That Your Old Portraits May Still Be Waiting

Just before Christmas, I received the sweetest email from a past client who had moved away. I had the joy of photographing their triplets for the first six years of their lives — and now they are graduating high school this spring!
She reached out asking about two specific images. When I let her know she could also purchase all of the ordered images from their past sessions, she was thrilled — especially with graduation coming up. What a special time to gather those memories from the early years.
In the earlier days of my studio, digital files were not always offered the way they are now. Today, most clients receive their digital images along with prints and albums. But if you had portraits taken at my studio years ago and would like to check on obtaining your digital files, I would be happy to look for them.
While I may not have every single image (a few files were unfortunately lost over the years), I have been able to locate most sessions.

There’s something special about pulling those old portraits back out — babies with chubby cheeks, missing teeth, twirly dresses, little bow ties. Time moves fast, but a photograph lets you hold onto it just a bit longer. And that never goes out of style.
