Auction Winner's Session

This family won the Auction at Welcome Home Haiti last year! A free session and 16x20 Gallery Wrap!

It can be such a small world, especially in a small-ish town like Bloomington/Normal. I met 1 of each of these couples at separate times and it took me a bit to piece it together that they were all from the same family!

The son had come to work for my parents through a mutual friend when my parents needed some extra help at the office and my husband got to know him pretty well! Then I met the daughter through our Women's and Children's group at church. 

Then I later met their Mom when she asked about me donating to the Welcome Home Haiti Auction but I realized that I had actually seen her over the years at a church and homeschool co-op  we used to go to and have many mutual friends. Plus we buy from the same food co-op each month!

There are several other crazy connections with in this family too but I won't bore you! Sometimes, you wonder how you have almost crossed paths many times but haven't actually met!

What a small world! So we planned this family portrait several months ago and when it came to the day, there was a chance of rain and the weather had temps all over the board, it was a little more humid and cloudy then we had all hoped but doable and I am so glad that it all worked out as getting 3 couples together is quite the task!
